We had lunch here after unveiling a plaque on an adjacent heritage project. Great food and drinks, and lovely staff.

My son and I went to the bar for a hot drink. I asked for plant milk for my coffee. I was surprised because this small bar had soy milk. They could offer vegan biscuits and soup as well. The service was fantastic by the waitress. I forgot to ask her name. The bar is spotless, including the toilet. In the future, I will visit them if I am in that area again. I highly recommend this bar.

A great, friendly pub with good beer (!), a selection of hot and cold lunchtimes snacks. It seems to be very much involved in the community, running bingo and movie nights etc regularly. I took part in their Wednesday Night Acoustic Sessions, run by Dave and they welcomed even gobby holiday makers like me! A great range of music, go along to listen or take part in the music or other ventures. Or just go for a quiet drink. Enjoy!

Myself and my husband had lunch here yesterday. I had the steak pie and Andy had one of the burgers. I must say it was the best pub lunch I have ever had. Apparently they use a local butcher for their meat. This coupled with a chef that really knows what he is doing is a great recipe .Also the staff were fantastic and the locals were really friendly. I would definitely return and highly recommend this place. Gina Edinburgh
